We continue to get calls from robo-callers. The classic 'We have attempted to contact you several times. This is your last chance to lower your interest rate.' Press 1 for details, press 2 to lose this chance.

Pressing 2 disconnects you but they just call back the next day. Pressing 1 puts you through to someone who tries to get your credit card information without telling you who they are or who they work for. They seem to know they are breaking the law and refuse to give out any information about who they are so that you can report them.

Does the TN come up when you look at Caller ID? You can investigate the number online, and then report the TN to the authorities.

Naw, its like number blocked or number withheld or private number.

I've tried to report them to the DNC list at the FTC, but you have to have the company name or number. I eventually just sent a generic complaint to the FTC.

Hmmm... there are ways you can have numbers like that blocked...
If you have Verizon, check out their Iobi service. You can configure it to block calls like that.

I had my phone ring at 6:20am this morning. It was a withheld number. I answered it and it was a guy panting... "Help me, I'm so hoooooorny"

I'd rather the robo-caller. :)

I'll try to set up call forwarding... Of course, I'm at work at 6:20.
