Performance...

This morning I ran into my department manager who wanted to see if I'd be interesting in taking over a lead position should it open up(which they expect to happen in April). I eventually said I would, after making sure he understood my concerns and accepted my feedback about who I thought would be a better fit. He said he'll ask that person if they'll do it.

I got my Performance Development Summary. 5 pages long. Certainly NOT a cut and paste of the previous years(finally). It would seem they still like me, though I'm not exactly sure why. I got a final rating of 'exceeds requirements' and 'promotable' and was ranked in the top quartile of my peers. So.. I guess I'll probably get a good raise, although that won't happen for a couple months(may?).
