Thank dog it is Saturday.

I was feeling a bit nauseous yesterday and last night. I'm not entirely sure its gone, but, there isn't much I can do about it. I slept in till 7:30 or so. Not much planned for this weekend. Sunday is D&D, but that is. Monday is Emily's birthday. I'm taking the day off to watch Evan so she can have a break.

How much is time with your family worth? Would you take a 9 month deployment to Thule(Greenland) working 60+ hour weeks for 80K(above and beyond your normal 40 hour salary)? That kind of thing can really help if you are planning time off to have a kid or planning to move, but you miss 9 months of your kids growing up and such.

After the England experience, I can unequivocally answer no to that question.

I'd say, if you were single, then yeah. But you're not, so no. It's not worth it. Anyway, say happy birthday to Emily for me.
