Lame

Weather.com is messed up. They are forecasting 1-2 inches tonight and 1-2 inches tomorrow. They do have a National Weather Service 'Winter Storm Warning' which calls for 7-14 inches.

Two things..

1. Get your story straight.
2. Allow me to get the information in cm not inches. I can get the temp in Celcius, why not get the snowfall in cm?

Out of curiosity, why so big on cm? Personal preference?

Several reasons...
1. Compatibility with the rest of the world(except England)
2. Seeing as most of the time things get rounded to the nearest whole unit, it seems more precise. ie.. 1-3cm vs 1-2 inches of snow. You'd never hear about 0.4 inches to 1.3 inches
3. Most the DoD programs I've been on use meters, etc. Although Mk57 Rearchitecture used yards, nautical miles, BAMs, etc.
