My family and the Friend family are going to try to get together for a family day of bowling on Dec 30th. It will be a chance for me to try out 'candlepin' and for Aiyre to try out bowling at all. We might be able to get into a bumper bowling setup to help the kids out.

The in-laws will arrive on the 22nd and leave on the 29th. It sounds like Mom may come out on the 24th for a couple hours before they drive to North Carolina to visit Jim's parents.

I've got about 23 hours left in the year to work. Tick Tick Tick!

Yer gonna love it. C and I did two summers in a couple's league, and did fairly well. I missed not bowling this past summer. My game's suffered a bit.
The only place in Worcester to do candlepin is Colonial Bowl on Mill Street. They have bumpers, and it's manual scoring. Make sure you read the rules on number of balls, strikes, spares, etc...

We are going to meet at a place in Franklin. Although if the place does not have bumpers, we may try to sucker them into driving up to Worcester.

They do have bumpers... it is just a question of do they have lanes with them at all times or do they just set them up during certain stretches of time/on demand or what.

Amy hates bowling :( But she will come provided Lily is agreeable. If she needs to nurse the girl she wants to be home.

I hate bowling, too

This is supposed to be a social event. You don't have to roll any balls down the alley if you don't want.

That was so gay...

So, do we have to wear our Gay Apparel for your xmas party?

We are planning. The In-Laws will be in town so we may bring them or force them to babysit. Are kids welcome? Aiyre doesn't have any gay cloths.
