Grr

Stupid contracts. So, we get this letter in the mail that they are raising the rate on some service we never use. Taking the hint, we call to cancel. They tell us that they need 30 days written notice in order to cancel so we'll still get one more bill(at the new rate). WTF? Even the stupid credit card companies will let you cancel without further penalty if they change the rates on you. Them? Nope. They should have changed the rate to a billion dollars a day. All the customers would be bound to pay it for a month before they can cancel.

So, it seems they have a reduced fee/cost plan(no difference in services provided). They tried to get us to switch to that instead of canceling the service. If we could pay less, why would they raise our rates? Grrr...
