Bleck

I stayed home from work yesterday. Other than being really tired all day I didn't really feel bad. Actually I kind of felt bad for not going into work. Today I went in. My stomach started acting up right away and I started feeling cold. Doh. I struggled through till noon and then came home.

My stomach still feels all cramped and gassy. Lots of pain and gurgles. At least I beat most of the snow home. We had just a light dusting when I got home. It was coming down and blowing around quite a bit.

If you have any fresh ginger, chop it up into pieces and put it in a big pot of boiling water. Simmer for about 20 to 30 mins, and then put some in a mug with honey. The flavour takes a bit of getting used to, but it will help with your tummy troubles.

Peppermint tea is also effective.

I'll try it with what we have... but we're out of ginger, honey and peppermint tea.

Well, that just makes things difficult, doesn't it?

Not really. Make it easier, just less effective.

Boil a big pot of water. Let is simmer 20-30 minutes. Drink a big mug full.
